Everyone faces challenges and trauma at some point. Strengthen your capacity to bounce back quickly to previous levels of emotional wellbeing. Be confident of your strengths. Develop some emotional literacy so you can manage your own and other’s feelings. Above all else, work on your optimism: track all the positives in any situation, expect most things to work out well and have an optimistic outlook. Difficult situations are temporary and will eventually get better, they don’t necessarily flow over into every aspect of your life, so don’t let them.
